David Lloyd, the former captain of the British Davis Cup Tennis team, had a vision to deliver a high quality fitness and leisure offering which was a place that had something for the entire family to enjoy. In Heston, on the edge of London, in 1982, David opened the doors to his first club. 38 years have since passed and now David Lloyd Clubs is the largest Health, Fitness and Racquets operator in Europe with 115 clubs and over 6,00,000 + members.

Mumbai, 1932 and Mr. Vishnupant Talwalkar had a similar vision to enhance the lives of the people of his city through fitness and opened the very first Talwalkars Club.
